We Protect Your Information

With tax season only a few months away, we would like to take this moment to pass an update from the IRS. The IRS is cracking down on every Tax Professional to make sure they are safeguarding their clients information. With scammers constantly using new methods to gain access to sensitive data, we want to give you a few tips on how to protect your information.

Do not download attachment or open links from unknown senders.

The IRS will ALWAYS initiate contact by sending a letter through the United Postal service. If you are contacted by someone from the IRS, call 800-829-1040 to make sure it is the IRS.

Before sending or giving your personal information to a tax professional, understand their security policy. NEVER send your personal information in an email without an encryption or a unsecured website. (Secured websites will always have an (s) after http.)

These are just a few precautions you are able to take to protect your information.

Our clients can have the confidence we are protecting their information from the moment we receive it.
